"Dog On it" by Spencer Quinn is a clever detective story narrated by Chet the dog. The author has to own & love dogs because the way he portrays how Chet's mind thinks is hilarious. Bernie is a private investigator that is a bit down on his luck, and Chet is his dog. Together they are working on the case of a missing teenage girl and this leads them on quite the adventure.
